Kwai was built for phones. Most people who reach this page are holding an address that came from tapping the arrow inside the app and choosing to copy the link, not from an address bar, because the app has no address bar.

That address is short. A host name, a slash, and a handful of characters. Paste the whole thing. The characters after the slash are the only part identifying which post you mean, so trimming them leaves an address that names the service and nothing inside it.

A short Kwai address is a signpost, not the post

• Open the post in the app and tap the share arrow.
• Choose the option that copies the link. The address reaches your clipboard with no browser involved.
• Move over to your browser, bring up this page, and hold your finger on the box until the paste option appears.
• Delete any promotional sentence the app wrapped around the address, keeping the address itself.

The mark the app draws into the frame

Kwai adds a mark to clips exported through the app, usually the service name and the poster's account name, drawn into the picture itself. It is not a layer sitting on top of the video that software strips off later. It is part of the pixels of every frame it appears in.

That means the file you save here carries whatever the published version carries. Nothing on this page repaints the picture, because repainting would mean re-encoding somebody else's video and handing you a worse copy than the one that exists. Play a few seconds of the source first if the mark matters to you, since what plays there is what arrives on your device.

Vertical clips are small files

A Kwai post runs from a few seconds to about a minute, and the frame is vertical, which carries fewer pixels across than a landscape frame of the same height. Both facts push the file size down. Rows come back at a few megabytes each, sometimes under one.

Posts and accounts that give nothing back

An empty list on a Kwai address usually comes down to one of a few situations, and none of them is fixed by editing the address.

A post the creator deleted is gone for every visitor. An account set to private serves nothing to a signed-out reader, and Vidzilla reads every page signed out. A profile address, a hashtag page, or a search result holds many posts rather than one file. Some material is served only to viewers in particular countries, and a page under that restriction returns a notice instead of a video.
