Where Vidyard videos usually live

Vidyard is common on product sites, sales enablement pages, and training portals. The player can sit on a Vidyard share URL or inside an iframe on a company page. For this tool you want the address that uniquely identifies one video, not the marketing landing page that embeds many clips.

Open the video until the player is focused on that one title. Prefer the share link Vidyard shows for that video. If you only have the parent page, play the clip, then look for a share or open-in-Vidyard control that reveals a dedicated video URL.

Vidzilla reads the public media the player is allowed to load for a signed-out visitor. That matches how most public demos and blog embeds behave. It does not log into a company’s CRM session for you.

Public share links versus gated sales embeds

A public share link plays for anyone with the URL. Analyze can list the published encodings when those encodings are reachable without a lead form or account cookie. That is the usual case for blog posts, help centers, and open product tours.

A gated embed often waits for a form fill, a sales-assisted token, or an authenticated portal session. The page you see after submitting a form may still look like Vidyard, but the media pointer is tied to that session. Pasting the outer marketing URL here returns an empty list because the signed-out reader never receives the file.

If Analyze stays empty, play the video in a private browser window without logging in. If it refuses to play there, this page will refuse as well. Ask the sender for a public share link or export from the Vidyard account that owns the upload.

What the results list shows for Vidyard

When a public video is readable, rows list the encodings Vidyard published for that asset. Resolution and size appear on each row. The size is the number of megabytes that will write to your disk if you pick that row.

When rows appear, choose the quality you need for review or offline training. Click Download file and leave the tab open until the browser finishes writing. Open the file locally to confirm audio and picture before you archive it.

If you need many assets from the same account, pull them from Vidyard’s own library export when you own the account. This page is for individual public links you were sent or found on a public page.

Free use, daily counts, and team workflows

Free use allows three completed downloads per day, resetting at midnight UTC. Analyze does not spend a slot. Only a finished file does. Teams that archive many training clips in one sitting usually need Pro for the higher daily allowance.

Prepared files on the server expire on a short timer. Download promptly after the row is ready. The copy on your disk is the lasting archive; the server copy is temporary.

Ads appear on free use. Pro clears them and lifts the 150 MB gate. Neither path installs a desktop Vidyard client through this page.

Rights and internal company video

Internal enablement videos often carry confidential product roadmaps. A public share link can still be confidential in content even when the URL is reachable. Follow your employer’s rules before saving or forwarding copies.

Customer-facing demos you are entitled to keep for offline pitch practice are a common legitimate use. Scraping an entire competitor library for republication is not. Ownership stays with the account that uploaded the video to Vidyard.

If the owner intended only streaming inside a portal, empty results here are the correct boundary. Request an official download or recording from that owner instead of trying to bypass the gate.

Common paste mistakes on Vidyard links

Pasting the homepage of a company that embeds Vidyard somewhere on the page does not identify one video. Paste the share URL for that specific asset.

Truncated URLs missing the video id, or URLs that still include tracking parameters wrapped by a redirector, can fail. Prefer the clean https address shown after the player loads.

Live event rooms and unfinished recordings have no finished file to list. Wait until Vidyard shows a normal on-demand player for that session, then copy the share link again.
