Save videos from a YouTube playlist, one at a time
A playlist address is a list. This page saves one public YouTube watch page per download. Open the item you want, copy that watch URL, then paste it here.

Note: Only download content you have the rights/permission to download. Some platforms rotate signed URLs; if a download fails, paste the URL again and click Download.
Paste one video URL per line (2–100 URLs on Pro or Creator). Upgrade to Pro to unlock batch mode.

Pro users enjoy an ad-free downloader. Free tier may show sponsored placements. No URL history sold. Optional Vidzilla extension for Page Media — same privacy standards.
Files go straight to your device.
Why a playlist URL is not a single download
A YouTube playlist page is an ordered set of video entries. It tells the player which items to queue. It does not publish one media file that contains every video in the list. When people ask for a playlist downloader, they usually want every item offline, but the technical unit of download is still one watch page at a time.
Vidzilla Analyze expects an address that points at one video. Paste a playlist index and the inventory has nothing singular to list, or it fails for the same reason a channel page fails. That outcome is correct. The tool refuses to invent a zip of an entire playlist from an index URL.
The workflow that works is simple: open the playlist, click the first video you need until the player shows that title, copy the watch URL from the address bar, paste it here, download, then repeat for the next item. Each completed file spends one free download.
How to copy the right address from a playlist
On desktop, start playback of the item inside the playlist. The address bar should show a watch path with a video id. Some playlist views keep a list= parameter alongside the video id; that is fine as long as the video id for the current item is present. Copy the full https URL.
On a phone, open the video from the playlist until the player focuses on that title, use Share, and copy the link YouTube provides for that video. Do not copy the share link for the playlist itself if you only want one item.
If you landed on a mix or a radio-style autoplay queue, confirm you are on a real watch page for a concrete upload before pasting. Auto-generated mixes can rotate and are a poor source for a stable offline archive.
What Analyze returns for a public YouTube watch URL
For a public video, results list the encodings YouTube published for that upload. Video rows show height and size. An audio-only row often appears because YouTube stores sound separately for many uploads. Pick video when you want picture and sound together in one file, or pick audio when you only need the soundtrack.
The size on the row is the size that will land on disk. Free use blocks any single file over 150 MB. Long lectures in high quality can cross that line. Read the number before you click Download. Pro removes the size ceiling.
Private, unlisted-but-restricted, members-only, or age-gated videos that will not play for a signed-out visitor will not list media here. If your browser needs a login to play the item, this page will not see a public file either.
Planning a multi-item playlist archive under free limits
Free use allows three completed downloads per day, resetting at midnight UTC. A ten-item playlist therefore needs more than one day on free use, or a Pro plan for a higher daily allowance. Analyze does not spend a slot; only finished files do.
Decide quality before you burn free slots. Saving 360p for phone listening and 1080p for the same lecture spends two downloads. Pick once per item when you can.
Keep a simple checklist of video titles as you go. Playlist order on YouTube can change if the owner edits the list. Your offline folder will not reorder itself when they do.
Playlists you own versus playlists you found
If you created the playlist from your own uploads, you may already have masters on disk. Prefer those masters when you need pristine archives. Use this page when the only copy you have is the public YouTube upload.
If the playlist belongs to someone else, rights still belong to the uploaders. Offline personal copies of material you are allowed to keep are not the same as republishing the whole list on another site.
Music playlists of commercial tracks are a common trap. A successful download does not grant a distribution licence. Buy official releases when you need permanent commercial music libraries.
Steps for each playlist item
Open the playlist and select one video until the player shows that title. Copy the watch URL. Paste it on this page and run Analyze. Choose a row that fits your screen and the free or Pro size rules. Download and wait for the browser to finish.
Confirm the file opens. Move it into a folder named after the playlist if you are building a set. Return to YouTube and select the next item. Repeat until the set is complete or your daily free count is used.
If one item fails while others succeed, treat that item as private, blocked, or removed. Skip it or obtain an official copy from the uploader.
After the files are on disk
Rename files with playlist position numbers if order matters for studying or teaching. Players sort by filename more reliably than by download time.
Prepared server copies expire quickly. Your disk copies do not. Back up the folder if the set is important course material.
Subtitles are a separate concern. This page’s video row is the picture and sound file. If you need captions as a file, use the subtitle-oriented YouTube tool after you have the watch URL.
YouTube playlist questions
Can I paste the playlist URL and get a zip of every video?
No. Paste one watch URL per job. Open each playlist item, copy its watch address, and download separately.
Does a playlist= parameter in the watch URL break the download?
Usually no, as long as the video id for the current item is in the address. The important part is that you are on a single watch page.
How many playlist items can I save on free use in one day?
Three completed files per day on free use. Each playlist item you finish counts as one.
Why did one video in the list fail when others worked?
That item may be private, members-only, region-blocked, or removed. Empty results mean no public file was available to list.
Can I take only the audio from each lecture in a playlist?
Yes, when an audio-only row appears for that watch URL. Each audio file still counts as one download.
Will the offline folder stay in playlist order automatically?
No. Name files with numbers yourself if order matters. YouTube can also reorder the online playlist later.
