Telegram mixes broadcast channels, groups, and one-to-one chats. Only some of that graph is visible without your account session. Public channel posts often have t.me links that open in a browser; private chats and private channels do not hand the same gift to a signed-out tool.

Copy the post link from Telegram's Share for that message, or from a browser once the public post page loads. That post URL is the unit of work. A link that only deep-opens the mobile app without a stable https page is a weaker paste candidate—prefer the form that still renders in a desktop private window.
Public usernames matter. Channels without a public @username may still be joinable by invite, but they do not give strangers a clean t.me/name/id surface. If you cannot open the post while signed out, treat it as non-public for tool purposes.
Private chats and private channels
One-to-one chats, private groups, and private channels require membership. There is no honest public post page for a stranger's private media. Invite links that add you to a private space are not public post URLs; they are admission tickets.

t.me/channelname without a post id is a channel entry point, not a single message. Paste the post-specific link when you need one video. Homepages and preview landing cards describe a stream of posts; Analyze will not pick a random recent upload for you.
Preview cards in other apps sometimes truncate the numeric suffix. Verify the full post URL before Analyze. If the number is missing, open the post inside Telegram, use Share again, and confirm the path ends with digits.
Pinned messages and channel comments threads can generate related links. Stick to the media post's own share target when your goal is that video file, not a comment permalink that happens to quote it.
Media types inside a post
Posts may carry video, photos, documents, or albums. A video-oriented expectation fails on a photo-only post. Read what the public page actually contains before you assume an MP4 row will appear.
Large documents may hit size ceilings. Check listed sizes before downloading. Free daily counts still apply per successful save, so a channel dump of twenty files is twenty decisions—not one magic paste.
Albums can bundle several media objects under one post index. When results list more than one file, pick deliberately. Naming saved files with the channel and post number keeps Downloads searchable later.
Geo, takedowns, and deleted posts
Deleted post numbers 404. Channels that go private later invalidate old assumptions. Regional blocks can hide public pages from some networks even when the same link works elsewhere.
Re-check the t.me post in a private browser window when triage is unclear. If the page is gone, no downloader reconstructs it from nostalgia. If it loads only through a VPN you use personally, understand that Vidzilla's fetch path may see a different network reality.

Tools that advertise draining private Telegram chats are surveillance products. Vidzilla's channel downloader is not that. Stay on public posts you are allowed to keep offline.
