A project page holds several pieces of media at once

Artists here publish work as a project. One project usually contains a run of still renders, and somewhere in that run there can be a video. Scrolling past six images to reach a rotating model is normal on this site, and the video is one item among many rather than the whole page.

Analyze reports the video the project is serving. The still renders in the same project are pictures, so they do not appear in the results, and a project made entirely of stills returns an empty list. Check that the project actually contains a moving item before you paste it.

Copy the project address, not the artist's portfolio

An artist's portfolio address shows a grid of everything they have published, which is a collection rather than a single piece. Click into the project you want so it opens on its own page, then copy the address from the bar. That address carries the artist's name and an identifier for the individual project.

The same rule applies to the browse pages, the challenge listings, and the marketplace. Each of those shows many works at once, so none of them has a single file behind it.

Turntables, breakdowns, and clips a few seconds long

The video published here has a particular character. A turntable rotates a finished model against a plain background so viewers can inspect it from every angle. A process clip compresses hours of painting into a short playback. A breakdown steps through the layers or passes that built the final image.

All three are short, and most run well under the 150 MB limit that applies to a single file on a free account. What they demand instead is resolution, because the point of a turntable is looking closely at surface detail. When the results offer more than one row, take the larger one; a soft copy of a model rotation defeats the purpose of saving it.

Artists can switch the public file off

This site is a professional portfolio platform, and the people posting here control how their work is served. An artist can present a project so that the video plays in the page without a downloadable file being offered to the public, and some choose to do exactly that with client work or unreleased material.

Two other states end the attempt. A project moved to private is served only to the artist. A project removed after a contract ended is gone. In each of these cases the result comes back empty, and that is the platform working as the artist configured it rather than a fault in the download.

The licence the artist set is the one that governs you

Everything on this site is somebody's professional work, and much of it is portfolio evidence they use to win contracts. Read the licence or usage note on the project page before you do anything with a saved copy. Some artists state terms directly under the work; where nothing is stated, the default is that the artist keeps all rights.

Saving a turntable to study technique is a private act. Republishing it, feeding it into a commercial product, or presenting it as your own is not, and no downloader changes that. Vidzilla has no arrangement with ArtStation and grants no permission on any artist's behalf. When you want to use a piece, the artist's contact details are on their profile and asking takes a minute.
