Work through a list of Facebook Reels

A run of Reels is a sequence of single jobs

There is one address box and it takes one address. Collecting six Reels means six passes: paste, Analyze, choose a row, press Download file, then start again with the next address. Each pass is independent, and a Reel that returns nothing does not affect the one after it.

Build the list before you start rather than hunting for the next address between downloads. Reels scroll past quickly and the feed reorders itself, so a clip you skipped over is awkward to find again. Collecting the addresses first turns the session into steady work instead of a search.

Collecting the addresses before you open Vidzilla

Use the share menu on each Reel and choose Copy link, then paste it somewhere that holds text. A notes app, an empty document, or a message to yourself all work. Put one address on each line so the list stays readable when you come back to it.

Write a couple of words beside each line while the clip is still fresh in your memory. The account name and a phrase from the caption are enough. Those notes become the reference you use later when the saved files carry numeric names.

Three a day on free, and what that means for a batch

A free account covers 3 downloads in a day, counted one finished file at a time, and the count returns to three at midnight UTC. A batch of ten Reels therefore runs across several days on free use, three today and three tomorrow.

Order the list so the ones you actually need come first. Reels can be taken down by the account that posted them, so anything you are worried about losing belongs at the top of the list rather than at the bottom. Pro removes the daily count and lets a batch run in one sitting.

Knowing which saved file came from which Reel

A downloaded Reel arrives with the name the source gave it, which is generally a string of digits. Six of those in a downloads folder look identical, and opening each one to check is slow work when the clips are short.

Rename each file as soon as it lands, before you start the next one. Take the account name and two or three words from your notes, and the folder stays readable a week later. Sorting the folder by the time each file arrived also keeps the batch in the order you downloaded it, which lines up with your list.

When one address in the batch comes back empty

Some Reels in a list will return nothing. The account may have restricted who can view the clip, or the Reel may have been deleted since you copied the address. Vidzilla reads every page as a signed-out visitor, so a restricted Reel gives it nothing to report.

Mark that line and carry on down the list rather than repeating the attempt. A blocked download does not consume a day's count, because the count follows finished files. Come back to the marked lines at the end and open each one in a private browser window to see what a logged-out viewer receives.

Sizes and disk space across a batch

One Reel is small. Twenty of them add up to something a phone with little free storage notices, so check the space you have before a long run. The results list prints the size on every row, which lets you total the batch in advance.

Free use holds any single file to 150 MB, and a Reel sits far inside that. The ceiling applies to each file on its own rather than to the batch as a whole, so a run of small clips never runs into it. Pro removes that ceiling along with the daily count and the ads.
