Start with a clean link

The downloader reads the address of a page that plays video. Copy that address from the browser bar while the player is open, or copy it from a share menu that prints the full page URL.

Before you paste, remove trailing spaces, closing parentheses from chat messages, and line breaks that messaging apps insert in the middle of long URLs. One broken character produces a different destination or an empty Analyze result.

Shortened links usually work because redirects are followed. If a short link lands on a hub page with several videos, open the specific video first and copy the address of that player page.

What happens after you paste

Press Analyze. The service reads the page behind the link and lists the video files that page is serving. Rows show resolution and size so you can choose before anything transfers.

Press Download file on the row you want. Keep the tab open until the browser finishes saving. The prepared file expires on a short timer, so start the download while the results are still on the page rather than hours later.

Links from chat, email, and documents

Chat apps often wrap links in preview cards. Long-press or right-click the card and copy the link address rather than copying the visible title text. Title text is not a URL.

Email clients sometimes break long URLs across lines. Paste into a notepad first, delete the break, and confirm the address opens the player in a browser before you bring it here.

PDFs and slide decks may hide the real address under a phrase such as watch recording. Copy the link address from the right-click menu, or open the link once and copy from the browser bar.

When the link is not enough by itself

A link that only opens a login wall cannot be read from outside your session. Analyze returns no rows because the tool sees the login page, not the video. Sign in in your own browser if you have access, then work from an address that reaches the player.

Playlist or channel links point at collections rather than one file. Open the single video you want and copy that page’s address. A channel URL is not a substitute for a watch URL.

Some share links open an interstitial first. Let the interstitial finish, land on the real player, then copy the final address from the bar. That final address is the one Analyze needs.

Choosing format from the online results

Higher resolution rows weigh more. Check the megabyte figure against the free 150 MB ceiling before you click Download file. If the row you want is over the limit, take a smaller row or use Pro.

Phone viewing rarely needs the absolute top row. A 720p or 1080p file is usually enough on a handset and finishes sooner. Save the largest row when you plan to watch on a large screen or edit the clip.

The list only reflects what the host published. If the source never offered HD, no online link downloader can create it from a lower encode.

Online versus installed link downloaders

An online tool means no install and no leftover process after you close the tab. That suits shared computers, locked-down workstations, and phones.

Installed tools can queue many links and resume after crashes. If you paste dozens of addresses every day, a desktop queue may save time. For occasional saves, the online page is the shorter path.

Neither path can save a video that the host already removed. A dead link returns an empty list or an error, which is the accurate answer about that address.

After the file lands

Find the file in Downloads on a computer or in device storage on a phone. Rename it if the original title is a long code. Play it in any player that supports the format you chose.

If the transfer failed halfway, do not assume the partial file is complete. Delete the partial, run Analyze again, and download once more with the tab kept open.

Keep the original link in a note if you may need another resolution later. The same address will list the same published rows as long as the host still serves them.
