Container labels such as MP4 matter when you already know which player or editor you will open next. Prefer a row whose format your device opens without extra conversion when you have a choice.

Addresses that fail for clear reasons

A homepage, a search results page, or a channel listing is not a video page. Analyze needs the address of the watch page that embeds the player. Open the video until it is playing or ready to play, then copy from the address bar.

Shortened links usually work after redirect, but a short link that lands on a marketing page with the video buried three clicks deeper still needs the final watch address. Private drives, classroom portals, and expired share links return empty lists because there is no public media object to describe.

If Analyze returns rows but Download file fails, keep the tab open and try once more while the preparation is fresh. A prepared file expires on a short timer; walking away mid-transfer wastes the attempt.

From paste to a file on disk

Paste the address into the box at the top of this page. Press Analyze and wait for the rows. Pick the row that matches the height and size you want. Press Download file and leave the tab in the foreground until the browser finishes writing the file.

On a computer the file lands in Downloads. On a phone it lands in device storage or the Files app. Open it once to confirm playback before you delete the tab or clear the browser’s download shelf.

You can move the file into any folder you manage. The copy on your device is yours to keep offline; the original page can change or vanish later without taking your saved file with it.

Responsible use

Only download media you have a right to keep. Personal offline viewing of a public page is a different act from stripping a watermark and uploading the file as your own work.

Vidzilla does not bypass paywalls, DRM, or private ACL checks. An empty results list on a gated page is the product working as designed, not a bug to work around with another paste.
