A slideshow post is pictures plus a track

A slideshow post looks like a video in the feed. It is built differently. The creator uploaded a set of still photographs and chose a piece of music, and the app advances the pictures on a timer while the track plays underneath.

Nothing on the page combined those parts into a single recorded video before publishing. The photographs are stored as photographs and the music is stored as audio. That is the whole reason this kind of post behaves unlike an ordinary clip here.

TikTok slideshows publish a sequence of still images with optional audio rather than one continuous camera recording. Analyze may return image rows, an audio row, or both depending on what the post published.

Confirm you opened a slideshow before you expect a single long MP4. A recorded clip and a photo slideshow are different paste targets even when they share the same app.

What comes back when the post is a set of pictures

Analyze reads the page and reports what it is serving. For a slideshow that means image files, and an audio file where the track is published separately from the pictures. There is no single tidy video row, because no such file exists at that address.

So the download is one piece at a time. Choose a picture and press Download file, and that photograph is written to your storage at the dimensions it was published at. The audio row, where the page serves one, saves as a sound file on its own.

The order the pictures were published in

The rows arrive in the order the post holds them, which matches the order they advance in while you watch. The first row is the picture you see when the post opens.

Files land in your downloads folder with names the source chose, and those names rarely carry the running order. Rename each one as it arrives, with a number at the front, if you plan to put the sequence back together afterwards. Doing it at the end means opening every file to work out which came first.

Telling a slideshow apart from a recorded clip

Three signs separate the two before you paste anything.

  • The picture changes in hard cuts on a regular beat and never moves in between. A recorded clip has motion inside each shot.
  • The progress bar advances in fixed steps rather than smoothly, because it is counting pictures instead of running through frames.
  • The post carries a photo count in the corner on the web version, which an ordinary video post does not have.

Slideshow posts that return nothing

An empty result describes the post rather than a fault on this page. A private account is closed to a reader who is not signed in, and our servers read every page signed out. A deleted post stops being served the moment it goes, and the pictures go with it.

An address that stops at an account name, a hashtag or a sound page holds a collection instead of one post. Open the individual slideshow, use the share control, choose Copy link, and paste that address instead.

Sizes, the daily count and what you end up holding

A published photograph from one of these posts is a few hundred kilobytes to a couple of megabytes, and the track is small as well. Nothing here approaches the 150 MB ceiling that applies to a single free download.

The count is the limit worth planning around. Free use covers three downloads a day, and taking six pictures out of one post spends more than a day's worth. The count returns at midnight UTC, and Pro removes it along with the size ceiling and the ads. Whatever you save is a copy on your own device, and the creator keeps the rights to the photographs and to the music behind them.

Keep this tab open until the browser finishes writing the file for tiktok slideshow downloader. A prepared file only waits a short time before it expires from the temporary store.

Questions about slideshow posts

Why does a slideshow not come back as one video row?

No combined video file exists at that address. The post publishes photographs and a track, and the app assembles them on your screen while you watch.

Can I save all the pictures in a single press?

No. Each picture is its own file with its own row, so you press Download file once for each photograph you want to keep.

Does the music come down with the pictures?

Where the post publishes the track as its own file, an audio row appears and saves separately. It arrives as a sound file, not attached to any of the images.

How do I keep the pictures in the right order?

The rows follow the order the post advances in. Rename each file with a number at the front as it lands, because the source names carry no sequence.

How many downloads does one slideshow use up?

One for every file you take. A post with five photographs and a track would spend six downloads, which is more than free use allows in a day.

Can I turn the saved pictures back into a video?

Not on this page. Vidzilla hands you the published files, and rebuilding them into a single video is a job for video editing software afterwards.
